Strategy running behind the scene

in NT8, in the tab strategies, I didn't see a few of my strategies I had launched before. Therefore I launched them again. Later on, I have seen doublon orders. I removed the new one that was launched, and could see new orders coming in whereas there was no strategy visible in the NT8 strategies tab.
How can kill a ghost strategy and avoid this issue? Is that a known issue?
If I restart again NT8, would that kill any strategy running behind the scene?

Please send in your log and trace files to PlatformSupport[at]Ninjatrader[dot]Com. Mark attention: Paul and a link to this thread.

If possible, identify the names of the strategies that disappeared that you reapplied and the approximate time you reapplied.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your e-mail:

Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
