I have couple of issues I am listing below. I am connecting to Kinetick first and then IB. I run one strategy which passes orders to my paper trading account on IB. At the same time I test some strategies on Sim01 account. Some problemes I have
1- If I remove all strategies running on Sim01 account and cancel their orders, it appears they continue running behind the scene as later on I receive error messages in the log file related to them. Also I have orders that are generated by the removed strategy. How is that possible? In the tab stratgies, I don't have them anymore.
For example I have these types of errors
a)Strategy "xxx" lost price connection for more than 10 seconds and will be started. However that strategy is no more activated , nor present on the strategies tab.
b) : Error on calling 'OnBarUpdate' method on bar 2392217: You are accessing an index with a value that is invalid since it is out-of-range. I.E. accessing a series [barsAgo] with a value of 5 when there are only 4 bars on the chart.
Again there is no chart anymore, no strategy so I dont see why these ghost stratgies continue running.
2- I use StartBehavior.ImmediatelySubmit and when IB updates its server, my strategy running on my IB account, seems to have trouble reconnecting. And apparently tries to cancel out orders it has generated himself (Unable to cancel out live orders. Strategy 'xxx' was not started.) Why this strategy once reconnected again to IB tries to cancel its own orders?
My question is what option to take, so that after an update of IB, the strategy reconnects as nothing has happened?
3- Finally, when I disconnect from both IB and Kinetick, and try to connect again, I receive
a) Error in opening connection Kinetick, exception caught. One or more errors occured (Panic)
b ) for IB, when I reconnect, I receive Primary connection = connected and Price Feed connected. Still the connection circle at the bottom left is yellow and says no connection.
Happy to share my log if needed. Looking forward to having a help on this
Thanks
