Trend Line Tool

Is there a tool specifically to draw trend lines that either extend just to the right or left?

Thank you for posting in our forum.

There is a drawing tool called Ray which is an extended line in one direction. Therefore it can be rotated to either extend to the right or left. To access this drawing tool, right-click within your chart window and select Drawing Tools>Ray.

Its Called a "Ray". But I find its not very useful because if you flip to a lower timeframe, it vanishes unless you load thousands of bars.... the anchor points need to be in the visible chart area on the lower timeframe as well as the higher timeframe. So I use "extended line" for this to make sure the anchors are close to the end of the chart and so are always visible on lower timeframes.

Not sure if there's an easier way to do this, but this is how I do it.
