Upgrading To Ninja8

I am still using 7 and am now wanting to start to test ninja 8. When I install Ninja 8 I opened it for the first time it asked if I wanted to import my settings from 7.
My question is I do that can I still use 7 until I get comfortable with 8?

Yes, you can still continue to use NinjaTrader 7, each operate as separate programs. Because of this, you can run them both at the same time, or use NinjaTrader 8 without affecting your NinjaTrader 7 installation.

Below, I've copied a link to our migration guide. This will go over items that can be moved to NinjaTrader via the migration process.

The Migration process will prompt when NinjaTrader 8 is first launched on a PC with NinjaTrader 7 installed. If needed, you can have the migration run again by closing NinjaTrader 8 re-naming the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > "Config" file to "config.old" and restarting.
