please tell me the steps i must take to uninstall/re-install NT8

can i just do a one-step download from http://ninjatrader.com/Download without doing anything prior to that? [i.e.] meaning that all my current indicators, strategies, charts, etc will be preserved?

Hello,

To remove and re install the platform, please use the following steps:

1. Copy your license key from the Help -> License Key menu
2. Exit NinjaTrader
3. Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
4. Optional: to remove user data and system files: manually delete the folder 'NinjaTrader 8' located under the Documents directory.
5. Download the platform from http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
6. Re install the platform
7. Re enter your license key and other information if you have removed the user data.
