Instruments not aligned

Hello,

The instruments in the attached chart - 1 year time frame - are not all aligned with each other. The equity indexes are aligned with each other and the futures with each other, but not all. Is this a bug?

Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X or 8.0.X.0)

I also observe this behavior in NinjaTrader 8 but not with NinjaTrader 7. I will be conducting further research. I will follow up when I have more information.

After further investigation I discovered that the different Trading Hours template for each data series is what causes the bars to be out of alignment. If the Trading Hours templates used have different end times it is expected that the bars would not align.

To have all data series align, use the 'Default 24/7' Trading Hours template for all data series in your multi-data series chart.

1. RIght-click on your chart > Data Series
2. Change the 'trading hours' to 'Default 24/7'
3. Do step two for each data series
4. OK

That worked, but I don't think week level settings should affect month and year charts. Did you also not say NT7 acted differently?

NinjaTrader 8 uses the closing time of the Trading Hours template to align the data series on the chart. NinjaTrader 7 did not have this capability.
