Equity Data Replay

I am very accustomed to downloading historical futures data which I then market replay through NinjaTrader. I use AMP Futures as my broker and connect to CQGData.

I want to be able to do the same thing (replay) with equity data. Is this possible? I called CQGData and asked them and they said to contact NT for the answer.
Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your post.

The CQG data feed will only provide data for futures contracts. If you would like to receive historical data for stocks, you will need a separate data service.

Can you please clarify which version of NinjaTrader you are using--NinjaTrader 7 or NinjaTrader 8?

Replay data for NinjaTrader 7 must be stored in a specific format and the data in this format can only be downloaded from NinjaTrader's historical data server. NinjaTrader's data server records data for futures but stocks are not currently available.

In order to replay stock ticker symbols, you would need to record the data from a real-time feed like Kinetick. It would not be possible to download replay data for stocks as you are currently able to do for futures instruments.
