NT 8 prior close is always wrong

There's always a price discrepancy between the prior close value listed in level II vs the prior close value listed on a 1 min. chart I'm using with a prior day OHLC indicator. Often as large as $2 difference on a $22 stock between the level II price for yesterday's close and the indicator price for yesterday's close. I've tried changing the market open hours from default 5 day RTH and then tried ETH and even tried a custom home made template of 5 day, 8-4PM for my trading hours and nothing fixes this. How do I correct it so it gives me an agreement in the actual bar close data for 4PM? This info is really important for day traders to determine gap up amount by the way. Thanks
