I see that it is possible to put a total bar and add the columns.

Is it possible to put a total cell on the rows so I can add the contents across the analyser?

The reason I want to do this is give an instrument pair a score and add them across to obtain a score then rank them top to bottom?

To add a total row, right-click on the Market Analyzer window and select Properties. Next, check the box Show total row in the Font section.

Next, you will have to enable total row for any column because by default, most columns have total row disabled. To enable total row, right-click on the Market Analyzer window and select Columns. Next, in the Configured column, set check the Show in total row option for each column you would like to see the total.

The procedure you explained puts a total at the top of the columns that adds vertically, and I am trying to total the rows up so left to right I could get the sum of each row?

is this possible ?

Yes please, that feature would be very useful.
Trend scores could be added to a calculation based on the instruments across time frames, then added together so that the present column totals could be added and ranked.
