Not sure if this is a bug but ...

When I create a new chart from the Control Panel, say a volume based candlestick chart, the chart that is created by NT is an OHLC chart even though a candlestick style was specified. The bar colors are incorrect as well. I need to go back in and reset the properties and ChartStyle to get the chart I want. This also happens with the Kagi line style and any custom ChartStyle created.

Is there any way a chart with the proper ChartStyle can be created on the first pass?

In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20170208.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.
