Multiple Interactive Brokers accounts

I have three interactive brokers accounts: a 401k ira, a roth ira, and a "regular" taxable account. I would like to run strategies for all three accounts. What is the best way to do this?

I don't think you can.

In NT8, they removed the ability to interface to friends and family accounts at IB, which is what is required to do what you want. I believe you are limited to connecting to a single account at IB. Perhaps support will chime in if I am wrong.

IMO, the ability to submit orders with a master account and percentages is a required feature.

This is one obvious area where NT8 does not meet the goal of being as good as or better than NT7.

In NinjaTrader 8, it would not be possible to trade using a FA (Linked) Account with Interactive Brokers. However, I'm happy to submit a Feature Request to the Development Team to consider this as a possible change in future releases of the platform.

Is it possible to have three separate instances of NT8 running, each one running on a separate VM, each connecting to a different account? That would be a pain to manage, but at this point I'm just wondering if it is even possible.

Hello Style,

Running three different instances of NinjaTrader on three different VM's would be possible, provided all the account connections were separate from one another.

This would be possible in NinjaTrader 7.
