How to stop selected ATM from switching?

I have a window showing multiple charts, each in their own tab.
Each chart has chart trader showing and is showing a different instrument.
I want to use a different ATM for each instrument.

However, I see that whenever I select an ATM in one window all the other charts are now showing that ATM when I switch to those tabs. this is a very subtle thing and can lead to entering orders with unwanted ATM.

I don't think this is desirable behavior.
Can it be changed?

I suspect that this is a result of the fact that you instantiate only one instance of the ChartTrader object for both these tabs. That has caused a bunch of headaches for me as a developer and it certainly is not helping in this situation.

Please advise a solution.
If none exist, then please submit a request for a new/different instance of ChartTrader for each chart.

This issue is already known to NinjaTrader and supposedly was added as a feature request back in the beta phase. It is a significant issue that actually reduces the benefit of having chart tabs in the first place. Multiple charts spread over multiple tabs will often require different ATM strategies!

Why is it that important information gathered during the beta phase appears to have been lost and is no longer known amongst NinjaTrader support staff? This is probably the 5th or 6th supposedly "new" topic raised in the last month or so which was heavily analysed and understood many months ago during the beta phase.

Please make ChartTrader unique to each tab

Add my vote to issue: SFT-304.
I tried responding to that issue directly but permission was denied

It is a bad idea to force all tabs within a window to use the same ChartTrader.
This SEVERELY reduces the benefit of using multiple tabs.
