IB Gateway Loading Times

Hi, I am using Interactive Brokers as data provider and want to switch to the IB Gateway since I have conflicts with some of my strategies and TWS Auto Logoff once a day. I followed all the instructions on NT and IB website and connection status on the Gateway and in NT look ok (green) BUT chart in NT are loading forever (more than 15min and still not there... I had to switch back to TWS but want to make IB Gateway really work... is there any advice??

Please verify that you are using a compatible version of IB Gateway. The link below will take you to our connection guide for setting up your Interactive Brokers connection, and there will be a link to the supported version of IB Gateway on that page:

Once you verify you are using the correct version of IB Gateway, check how much historical data are you trying to load into your chart. You can do this by right clicking on your chart --> Selecting Data Series --> inspect the value defined for Days to Load in the Time Frame section (it is the second parameter).
