Problem on chart

Hi,


I was doing some work on the charts so I
wanted to click on the F for the auto recenter of chart.


but after clicking all the bars etc get
squeezed into a single line

and I cant find anyway to solve it.

You appear to have an indicator which is plotting a horizontal line at a price of 0. If the auto scale option for this indicator (in the indicator panel) is checked it will scale the plot to show all price values between 0 and the actual security price. This compresses the price axis.
I suggest you try to find out what is plotting the line at 0 and either delete that indicator, fix what is wrong or uncheck its auto scale option. Have you by any chance placed an indicator onto the main price panel that should have be loaded in its own window instead?

Thanks for posting.

I would agree with FMtrader's assessment that the line's auto scaling is causing this behavior. Regardless if this is a drawing tool line or a line drawn by an indicator, double-clicking this line would bring up this line's parameters.

If a drawing tool, please un-check "Auto Scale" and then click "OK."

If an Indicator, please select "False" for the Auto Scale parameter and then click "OK."

After making this change, do you see the same on the chart?

was having another 2 charts which uses almost the same indicators
but without the problem

took me a while to try to uncheck the auto-scale option
to find the error
