Setup:
NT 8
Kinetick Data (First to connect) (500 symbol streaming)
IB Broker (Second to connect) (100 symbol streaming)
Occasionally when Kinetick looses connection NT will attempt to then use IB to subscribe to various symbols that are running in a strategy. This happens as it should. Without paying IB for expanded symbol streaming IB has its own limits of 100 symbols so not all previously subscribed to symbols may be allowed to stream.
When the Kinetick connection is restored NT does not resubscribe to symbols from Kinetick but stays with the secondary data source in this case IB. This means that if 500 symbols are streaming when Kinetick temporarily goes down it rolls over to IB data but only for 100 symbols. When Kinetick is back up 400 symbols remain offline because NT doesn't try to stay with the first connected/primary data provider.
Feature Request:
Allow NT 7 & 8 to fail over to other connections as it does now but always monitor if the preferred/first connection is re established. If it has reconnected then resubscribe to data from this primary source.
