Chart tabs or windows more resource-intensive?

Which configuration of a workspace would be more efficient and less resource-intensive:
1. Half a dozen charts as tabs in a single window?
or 2. Those same charts, each in its own window?

Containing your charts to one window and utilizing the chart tabs would be the more efficient and less resource-intensive option.

Thank you. That confirms what I've been seeing today, but wasn't sure if it was some other bottleneck impacting the multi-window workspace (there have been a few "connection restored" events).
