Instrument with ilegal characters on name can be create but not edit

Hi. I load a list of Mexican Stocks with a .MX in its names by import utility. It works and YAHOO as data provider works but when i need to edit stock information, for example to add splits manually because it does not update automatically. NT shows a error dialog saying that illegal letter on "master instrument name".

Can you tell me one equity's symbol information specifically so I can test this behavior on my end?

Yes of course. For example Mexichem, S.A.B. de C.V.
Simbol: MEXCHEM.MX

If you recreate the instrument but exclude the period from the master instrument name, does it work as expected?

Hi Patrick, Yes i believe it will work if I recreate the entire list and remove all current instruments but for each one we need to set manually the simbol code, in my case with a ".MX" at the end. Then I believe this a error on current version, if is not allowed to have a instrument master name with a period, then in the import function it must be block. I write this article on the forum, to look for a more quick way to fix my current instrument list, but it is not possible, then I will take the long route.
