"Unable to write to cache" error message - NT 8.0.2.0

Hi,

I've been getting a "Unable to write to cache" message logged periodically. I'm running some simple strategies in the background. What does this actually mean and how to do fix this?

Can you please delete your cache file and test again if you receive the error?
To delete the cache, follow the steps below.

Shut down NinjaTrader.
Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 or 8> db folder.
Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
Restart NinjaTrader and test.

Ok, I will try that next time I restart NT (later tonight).

In the meantime, can you please explain what this error message means and could of caused it? I'd like to understand this.

Most commonly this item appears when attempting to load data for an expired contract. It may also appear when the cache data has become corrupted.

I have been having a similar problem, and was improved by allowing Ninjatrader program as trusted under my virus protection.

I have deleted all my folders within the db directory apart from Ninjatrader.sdf

now and again it crops its head up, but doesnt seem to affect the running of NT8 ?
