Data Provider - Real-Time Timestamp Native vs. Local

    NT Team,

The NT8 user guide on Historical & Real-Time Data shows possible Timestamps as Native or Local.
Interactive Brokers is listed as Local. What does this mean exactly? What are the implications?

    Thanks
    Shannon

    Hello Shannon,

Local means that real-time data is time stamped using your PC clock. Native means the real-time data is time stamped by the connectivity provider. If you use a connectivity provider with local real-time time stamp, please make sure your PC clock is in synch.
