I was able to run your strategy without errors using IB TWS. Please make the changes to your code I recommended in post 14. Because your script accesses your filesystem, and may be performing more intensive operations with IB TWS due to more thread concurrency, I am also including specs from my test system. Please review the system recommendations here.

Hi Jessica,

I added your code to my script and it still does not work. It just waits for 14 bars of data to be loaded then crashes.

My computer specs are very similar to yours. win7 64bit OS, 16gb ram, 8 core 3 gz processor, ssd.

Again I'm fairly certain this is an issue with the way the data is processed through NT8 and IB TWS as I can run the strategy fine on market replay.

Could you please verify you ran this script with IB TWS as the only data source, with a live connection feed?

I can verify I used the recommended version (960.2G) of IB TWS as my only data feed connection. It appears something local to your system is occurring.
