Charts titles no longer display timeframe

When you have multiple NinjaTrader chart windows open, NT7 made it easy to find the chart you were looking for by displaying time frame in the chart title by hovering over the windows taskbar group.

NT8 no longer displays the time frame in the chart window title. I really hope this is addressed. Until then, I cannot upgrade to NT8.

Hi,

NT8 now shows the "Tab name" in the Windows Task Bar preview. This value is user definable and you can change that to be the "@DATASERIES" function if you prefer that display or any combination of those functions you wish.

Also, compared to NT7, both version shows the Data Series on the Windows Caption/Title bar. What is different is NT8 has merged the toolbar and caption bar to be the same entity.

Sorry, I am not clear what you mean - are you trying to get a "Chart Style" to work as a @VARIABLE function for the tab name? That is not possible but we can log that as a request if that's what you were after.

What is a Chart Type Program?

Setting and Resetting a chart preset should be working. I'm not immediately aware of a preset problem but can look into that if you can tell me specifically may not be working, we can look into it.
