Connecting both versions

I am trading on NT& and have a strategy i want to trade live on NT8...they both seem to connect fine, however when i try to enable strategy to my live account i get this exception

Is it not possible to trade live on both platforms at same time?

Thank you for your post.

Trading live on both installations on the same account should be dependent on if the brokerage account allows multiple connections for trading.
Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.
You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support.
Please list 'ATTN: Patrick H' in the subject line and reference this thread in the body of the email.
