Disabling Popups

Within the notification window enable Do not show this message again then click Ok.

This will not disable all future notifications however I have submitted your suggestion to our development team and will follow up as soon as a tracking number has been assigned.

This is not currently possible in the platform. However, I have added a vote for you to the current feature request to allow disabling of all popups. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-671.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

the fact that popups cannot be disabled is ridiculous. when you trade with hotkey and a popup occurs, your hotkeys are rendered completely useless. what genius thought that would be a good idea. whats the point of even having hotkeys at that point. when the markets are moving, you might want to move stop real quick, only for the price to shoot past where you want to move it. and then boom popup. and then you can close that position with a hotkey anymore. these popups can stand to lose people a lot of money because you think its more important to let people know that they can't do something every time. I'm genuinely curious who thought that was a good design decision and if they still have a job

its not a specific error. the error is irrelevant. the fact remains that when there's a popup the hotkeys are rendered useless.

Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid this behavior as it is hard-coded into the platform, however, I have added your vote to an ongoing feature request for the ability to toggle pop-ups to be implemented in a future update. If it is added in an update, it will be listed here in our Release Notes.

and dismiss it automatically

bltdavid You are absolutely correct. There should be a way to optionally disable these types of popups.

Perhaps it's as simple as there's a "don't show me this again" checkbox on all such pop-ups, and there's a tab in Options that lets you uncheck those "don't show me" boxes for each one in case you want to turn it back on. If there are too many different kinds, they could be grouped.

I agree with eldoi completely. There is no need to have a popup stop you from trading WHILE you have an open position. If it is completely necessary to have a pop up, just don't allow it to stop your trading functions while you're in a trade. Add my vote to the disable popups.
