i would rather not be be connected to my Dorman real account because i currently am trading only in simulation mode. if possible, how do i disconnect from the real account?

I removed the screenshot you provided as it contained your personal information.
There is no way to connect to your live account and not have your live account information displayed in the Accounts tab. NinjaTrader by design will display any accounts associated with a connection that is made.
If you go to Tools and ensure that 'Global simulation mode' is enabled, you will be locked to simulated trading only.
You can also ensure the platform starts in simulation by going to Tools > Options > Trading > Enable 'Start in global simulation mode'
