Announcement opens in modal form

Whenever i leave a strategy running, and there is an announcement which pops up, it always does so as a modal form, and I'm then unable to close the form, or access any other part of NT. Eventually, i have to task kill it to recover. I think the strategies also freex

Is there any way I can disable all announcements from popping up?

We are looking into this scenario further with our QA team. If there are any changes in an upcoming release to address this sort of behavior, we will update this thread.

Please do. I just got another announcement for future contracts changing on some date and it just froze all windows, including my strategies. It gets very irritating having to kill NT and restart it again, and initializing strategies again. The whole point of this is automation, without requiring human intervention. Please look into it with high priority. Thanks
