new pc windows 10

hi,

i just install nt 8 on windows 10 and 2 icones appeared one nt and the other nt 8 64 bits.
what's the difference and does it make a difference to start one or the other?

Thank you for your post.

When installing NinjaTrader on a 64-bit Operating System two versions will be installed a 32-bit version "NinjaTrader 8" and "NinjaTrader 8 (64-bit)". If your data provider supports a 64-bit connection I would suggest using the 64-bit version of NinjaTrader.

When using the 64-bit version this will allow NinjaTrader to use additional CPU resources such as RAM. I have provided a link below that goes over the difference between 32-bit and 64-bit.
