Extended Line drawing rotation when ends on active bar

When I draw an extended line and place one end on previous bar and the final end on current active bar. The line starts to rotate, If line is"up" rotates counter clockwise, line down rotates clockwise. If I end on on a non active bar, no rotation. Never noticed it on NT7. Have tried all 4 snap modes, tried lock on/off, auto scale on/off.

Any suggestions?

I've tried to replicate based on your description but I am I not able to. I've tried with both a regular line and an extended line. Could you provide a couple of screenshots showing the line as you set it on the chart then some time later when it has changed. Alternatively, if you have screen recording software then please record the dynamic action and post the video.
