    Dom Positioning

When in a Short position the "C" Center button is too close to the "X" Close position
button as I requrested prior the "C" should have an option to replace the Price column label as in NT7.

    Hello Jerry,

I assume you refer to an active sell order. There is no X when you are in a short position. Did you receive an SFT # for this request?

Not supposed to be. But I have taken 4 Shorts this morning and at least 2 of them had the X on the Right Side. Because I noticed it in the way and caused me to do the post. I have had no longs this morning.
So this is an additional Issue. I don't recall whether there was a number given for the request.

I suspect you had active sell orders. Once a sell order is submitted and active, you will see the X next to the C button.

Being in a short position does not bring up the X. If you test it in the Sim101 account, are you able to bring up the X while solely in a short position without having any active orders?

Ok, I will forward the suggestion to restore this setting in NinjaTrader 8 to relocate the C button to the price column header.

I am sure your correct, Its early. So I must of been trying to re-position after placing working short order. But it will be in the way of the "C" in a long position as well.

Sorry I am not quite sure what you mean by "But it will be in the way of the "C" in a long position as well." Do you refer to the X with "it"?

Please note that there should not be any X when you are in a long or short position. The X should only display once you have active orders. If you have active buy orders, you will see the X on the left. If you have active sell orders, you will see the X to the right (next to the C button).

See attached. Look at the "C" Center and "X" Close for Long Position

The screenshot shows you have active ATM orders. They are sell orders and therefore you see the X on the right side. The X will not close your long position, but it will cancel all active sell orders.

If you are in a short position with ATM orders active, you would see the X on the left side.

The suggestion is present on the list and is assigned to SFT-1030. We added your vote.
