Ninja Trader 8 with IB now unusable ? Why this ?

Hi

First, i have install this weekend NT8 and after some hours everything have seems perfect. I have like NT8 . Everything seems better.

But now today the live Test with IB.

Loading time with about 30 charts : 30 min !
This is not usable for trading !
Loading time with the same charts with nt7 only 3 min.
10 times slower !

Open only 1 new chart takes 4 minutes. Nobody can trade with this.

In only 2 h test 2 about 20 ticks wrong data spikes in the dax future chart .
I have never ever see this in NT7.

The Cross Hair is very slow in NT8. Much much slower than in NT7.
(ok this is a minor problem)

But the loading time and ghost spikes ? NT8 is for IB now just unusable.
I know there are Data Limits from IB but there was no problem with this with NT7,
ok 3 min loading time is not fine, but now, everything is completely unusable..

Why this ???

Can you send me your workspace to platformsupport at ninjatrader dot com.

I'd like to test on my side to see what kind of data your loading. With NinjaTrader 8 we did modify pacing logic to slow down requests for historical data to better match IB guidelines for loading historical data. I'm concerned this logic might be too restrictive and causing data to load a lot slower than intended.

On the spikes, something we are aware of but we're seeing more reports of recently. We may need to review that in more detail. We switched to using the same feed IB internally uses for its *T&S* in its own product. Some exchanges were more prone to data spikes then other and needs to be reviewed.

We just released NinjaTrader 8.0.11.0 which includes performance upgrades to the crosshair.
