Ninjatrader 8 Chart /Strategy Truncates Minute data

Hi,

I've got NT 8, and test drove it by loading historical data.

I loaded a few months of minute data, and then exported it to make sure I got everything right. Exported data file matched perfectly the imported one.

Then when I chart or run a strategy, Ninjatrader 8 would cut the data and run/chart only from 9:30 to 11AM, and skip to the next day. I also tried to just plain chart the data and still get the data cut after 11am, since I suspected that I didn't run the strategy right (I ran the build-in sample MA crossover out of the box).

I loaded AAPL / NYSE from a historical text file.

Is this expected behavior?

In NT 7 I can load and see/work with with the exact same data set just fine.

Please take a screenshot of the Tools -> Historical Data window showing the data in question.

Click the plus to expand Historical -> the instrument name -> the instrument type -> the interval -> date -> and select a date to show the data that is missing from the chart.

Also please include a screenshot of your chart scrolled to where the data is missing and a screenshot of the Data Series window so that we may see what days are set to load as well as the session template selected.


To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
