There are two minor issues when adding users to the license data base.
1) Usually I copy the machine ID and paste it into the field of the license data base. Actually, several times I made a mistake and copied the string with a "blank" added in the end. Obviously the license would not run on the customer's machine.
NinjaTrader 7 refuses any machine ID comprising a "blank". It would be very useful to have NinjaTrader 8 checking the machine ID for "blanks" and refusing them, if any "blank" was detected. Just like NinjaTrader 7 does.
2) The license data base refuses some dates. For example it is impossible to enter 12-31-2099 as a license expiry date. This is being converted to 12-01-2099 for no obvious reasons. I think there were other dates converted as well, but do not remember exactly.
