    NT8 with NT7's color scheme

Is there any easy way to use or set NT7's color scheme (background color, font color etc of NT8's windows) in NT8? NT8's color scheme is quite difficult for eyes to trade with.

I 2nd that. I have been playing around with my chart colors for a week now and cannot get them to be anything like NT7 even when using the exact same color selection. Its as if they used the same color names but changed the palette.

Is there a way to get a skin that uses the system color and font settings? NT8 sticks out like a sore thumb, does not look anything like the rest of the system and apps.

totally agree, this user experience is far worse than any other platform and is a huge draw back than NT7 even functionality wise NT8 is better.

You can change the skin of NinjaTrader via the Control Center > Tools > Options > General > Skin
          RayNinjaTrader Customer Service

And select, "Skin, Light" to better replicate NT7's appearance.

thanks to point out this solution, it could be nice to set as default with NT7's scheme, this could unload unnecessary disomfortability from this upgrade.

I'm glad others have noticed this, as it's a problem that's putting me off using NT8 unless I can get the colors of the drawing objects in particular to have the same color sharpness as in NT7.

With regard to the exact color scheme, there is information in the Help guide as follows.

Drawing Methods now use the System.Windows.Media.Brushes class instead of the System.Drawing.Color structure

And Creating a Solid Color Brush (using the old RGB Color scheme), under the topic "Working with Brushes", hope this helps some.

Thanks for that Joe_T. Just used it to change one of my indicators color to RGB, and it's made a big difference.
