Srange disabling

Good morning,

Every once in a while, the Chart Trader drop list disables itself for no apparent reason. Likewise, it will enable itself for reasons I don't understand. I changed the account for this chart last night and it was disabled. It is still disabled this morning and would love to make the chart trader look at the right account, but I can't get into it. I expect it to re-enable itself sometime today, although when exactly is a crap shoot. Same for the mouse crosshair drop list. They are almost always disabled at the same time and become re-enabled at the same time and I don't understand why either of them should ever become disabled.

This is a minor issue especially compared to the crash bugs that were re-introduced to the latest release but if you keep it logged somewhere, hopefully you can figure out why it's happening one of these days after you get NT8 stable.

There are a few things that could cause this and I would require some information about your installation of NinjaTrader to further diagnose.

The first thing that comes to mind is your license key or strategies, but I could not be certain with the information I have.

Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

I sent you my log and trace files. Did you see anything in there that could cause this? You mention that there are several things that could cause this... Can you name one? Because I can't think of a single reason why the user shouldn't be allowed to access chart trader or be able to turn the mouse from a cross hairs to a pointer.
