Can't create subfolder if the name exists in other folder

This problem raised in beta is not fixed in in the production release.

I reviewed the case and this is to be expected. unfortunately it is not possible to name folders the same in the sub categories of the editor.

Can you elaborate and explain why it is to be expected?
I understand it may be a low priority but this constraint doesn't make any sense.

Hello,

This is based on how the editor manages the custom folder. The custom folder is not just a directory on the file system, but is in essence a big project and content file for NinjaTrader. The way that project is managed prevents same name folders from being used. This is not necessarily a limitation is simply works differently than the windows file system to be in line with the platforms needs.

But to be honest it still doesn't make much sense - subfolders being projects? I edit 99% of my code in Visual Studio and from this level it is not the case. Are you possibly talking about namespaces as scripts generated from the subfolder inherit folder structure as namespace?
If that's the case then I still can't see the reasoning behind that constraint, especially considering the fact that I can successfully create these subfolders from the level of VS.
