NT 8.01 Strategy Analyzer Optimization Results Missing %Win
Hi,
Several points here on optimization:
Points 1 needs to be address as a shortfall. The rest are all nice to haves one day.
1) the Strategy Analyzer Results is missing the Percentage Profitable column as an option under Columns - Results and Columns - Log.
This is a really useful statistic at various stages of optimization.
Can this please be added to the Columns - Results and Columns - Log list of available columns and correspondingly be added to the Optimization Results and Log.
2) there are many naming inconsistencies of column names between Columns - Analysis, Columns - Log and Columns - Results. (Sorry 30 years in IT and these small details stick out)

3) another really useful column to have on the Results table of optimization:
Optimized Parameter(s). This column would just list the optimized parameters and not all of the parameters. That would be brilliant. My strategies have a moderate number of parameters and just reviewing the ones being optimized this run would save so much time.
4) another useful column on Results table of optimization: RoMaD - Return over Maximum Drawdown. Calculated as: total net profit / Math.Abs(Max. Drawdown). Currently I do this in Excel.
5) one more column on the Results table of optimization: PPT - Points Per Trade. Calculated as Total Net Profit (as points) / Total # of trades. Currently I do this in Excel.
6) add the ability to not just sort columns in the Results table of optimization but to filter them on one or multiple columns - like Excel but without having to export it.
Eg. Filter results to show all results with Profit factor > 1.3
Filter results to show all results with Max. drawdown < 200 points
etc.
