Merge policy by instrument?

Hi there,

Sometimes I look at a futures contract which is not the front month, but rather one in the future. This resulted in my charts for these future contracts displaying all strangely until I went to Tools > Options > Data Tab and changed the "MergePolicy" to "DoNotMerge"

The problem is, I don't what "DoNotMerge" to be standard for all contracts, only some.

I know this is not possible in NT7, but in NT8 are you able to select the merge policy on a per instrument level?

Thanks for posting.

This is possible in NinjaTrader 8. To make this change, navigate to Tools -> Instruments. Select the instrument from the list and then click "edit." More information on this topic at the below link:
