Which version of IB's TWS is recommened for NT 8 ?

We're told by you to use TWS 944.3 version with NT-7 for a stable connection. Now for NT-8, which TWS version have you checked to be reliable ?

There are two interfaces which can be used to connect NinjaTrader to an Interactive Brokers account:

• IB Trader’s Workstation (TWS) – Fully featured Trading Application provided by Interactive Brokers (allows you to view and manage API orders which were submitted through NinjaTrader)
• IB Gateway – Lightweight Interactive Brokers interface (provides status updates on the API connection but does not provide interface to manage API orders)

We recommend having at least one of the following standalone Interactive Brokers API Software versions installed (browser versions are not supported)

• TWS 954 - Download
• IB Gateway 954 - Download

No. You could use a more recent version. However if you experience issues, the connection guide provides a version which is known to function as expected with NinjaTrader.

This should download IB gateway latest 960.2b

Or you can go to the below link to choose the version (32 vs. 64bit). Make sure both versions are using the same (i.e. NT8 and IB gateway are both 32 or 64bit)
