Walf forward optimization

When I do a walk forward optimization, I get the results but when I try to drill down into anything, like what settings were used, all of the choices are disabled. Why is that?

Thanks for your post.

Just today we release 8.0.1.0, if you have not updated, please do so and retest. When retesting please start with SampleMACrossover strategy and advise if the issue persists.

New version of NinjaTrader, same thing. I'm just curious as to why it does this. Maybe it's supposed to although that wouldn't make sense to me. And yes, I did use the sample EMA - it does the same thing as my strategy does.

Thanks for your reply and picture as that clarified for me what you were looking at.

This would be expected for the summary row which is selected by default when the WFO ends (at top of the results window). If you select any row below that then all of the analysis tools are available.
