    cache data

    I am getting the error in NT8 cant read cache data on start up, when I look in documents/Ninjatrader8/cache the folder is empty ?

    should there be cache data in there? what can I do to rectify please?

    Hello,

    If you have looked at charts, there should likely be data in the folder. Could you please send your log and trace files to platform support [@] ninjatrader [dot] com? Also please include a link to this forum post for tracking.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

    Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
