How do I get rid of these errors?

    #2
    Hello 1001111,

    Thank you for posting.
    • In the NinjaScript Editor, go to Right-click > References.
    • Remove any suspicious or duplicate versions of DLLs, especially ones like mscorlib, Newtonsoft.Json, System.*, or SharpDX.
    • Re-add only compatible versions if needed.
    • Recompile
Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

But I haven't been able to get rid of the error message since the update.
        what else can I do?

Within your References window please remove the reference ending with PresentationCore.dll then once removed use the steps provided below to repair your installation:
          • Close NinjaTrader
          • Go to your Windows Control Panel
          • Select "Uninstall a program"
          • Select NinjaTrader 8
          • Click Repair
          • Once completed open NinjaTrader
          • Compile
Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

            Hello Christopher

Thank you very much for your help.

            I uninstalled and reinstalled NinjaTrader.
It looked to me as if Visual Studio was corrupted or no longer compatible. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Visual Studio as well.

But despite reinstalling, there is still a message.
Warning: Referenced assembly 'PresentationCore, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' targets a different processor.

When I save something in the Ninja editor, no message appears.

Is there a way to reset the setting for Visual Studio?

              Hello 1001111,

You can remove that by disabling warnings, that is not a compile error. In the editor right click and uncheck warnings.

If you are using visual studio I would also suggest turning off warnings as they will not be helpful while using NinjaScript, you need to make sure the NinjaScript editor is visible while using Visual studio, when you save the file in visual studio check that there are no compile errors in the editor. Warnings can be ignored completely.

                  Hello

This is how it should normally look in Visual Studio

I think the Visual Studio configuration is completely broken.
If I completely uninstall NinjaTrader, including all data, then a reinstall should make it work again?

                    Hello 1001111,

Yes if the project file was changed you may need to restore it, you can do that by uninstalling the platform and then re installing it. You may need to do a clean user folder, I have included the steps for that below.
                    • Exit NinjaTrader
                    • Open the Documents folder
                    • Rename the NinjaTrader 8 folder to NinjaTrader 8 Old
                    • Download the installer from https://account.ninjatrader.com/download
                    • Install the platform, this will create a new user folder.
                    • Open the platform and import any of the items that you need
