Hot Reload

Hello Support,

I code frequently in NT8 and make multiple changed, also need constant feedback, just like in web development, there's a Hot Reload feature where once changes are saved, the page is updated.

I wonder if there's such alternative for Ninjatrader here, whenever I compile an indicator or strategy, it automatically refreshes the scripts on the chart, it would be a great time saver and would remove this flow interruption while coding.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately no such feature is built-into NinjaTrader. To reload a NinjaScript requires right-clicking the chart and selecting Reload NinjaScript.

You can programmatically force a script to refresh using the method described here through unsupported means:
