can't sell 3 mnq not enough in my accout

    can't sell 3 mnq not enough in my accout

    my account is 900$
    I had no positions on
    I tried to sell 3 MNQ
    was only able to sell 2
    got a pop up message said that i did not have enough in my account
    this happened at 1240pm april 30

    • If your orders are on an account with a different broker or Prop firm provider, then reach out to their support team directly first.

    That being said, if you are a NinjaTrader Brokerage user, Margins for the MNQ were raised to be 4x their normal rate from 2:30 pm to 3:11 pm CST today (4/30/2025) for MSFT and META Earnings Release.

    You are always welcome to check the current margins by visiting the link below as it will dynamically update if they are ever raised:
    If you have any other questions about your orders and why they were rejected, please reach out to your broker and their support team directly.

    Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

      Hi Clayton do you know if NT has or would ever considered adding a live pop-up notice in the NT desktop platform prior to when these temporary margin adjustments take place? Thanks
