Schwab Connection - Chart Volume Data Not Updated

Dear Support,

The new Schwab connection does not update the volume data on a live chart. Volume data should be updated live along with the price data. To see the recent volume data one must reload all historical data from the chart drop down menu.

Please either advise how to see live volume data along with price data on a chart or provide a fix if this is an internal NT8 or the API issue.

Thanks. I already did post a screenshot in Post #1. I am using the default VOL indicator with calculate on bar close. As you see in screenshot in post #1, the volume is not correct after today's market open. To see the correct volume on a new bars, at any time, I must reload all historical data to show the real volumes for past bars.

If you want to view the volume that is available from Schwab during the current bar you would need to change the VOL to Calculate on each tick.

Keep in mind when connected to Schwab the data provided to NinjaTrader is snapshot data therefore you may see different data when comparing real time data and historical data after reloading a chart due to the update interval within NinjaTrader.

The only workaround is to connect to a data provider updates real time. If you are looking for a data provider only for real time and historical data I recommend using Kinetick: (Our Preferred Data Feed Service Built Specifically for NinjaTrader 7) which provides historical Tick, Minute and Daily data for Equities, Futures and Forex.
