NT live data working directory / remapping to a RAM drive

Hello everyone,

Where does NT store the live data while it's operating? Which folder or db-file?

I know how to remap folders under Windows transparently for applications and my goal is to remap the NT live data working directory to a RAM drive to eliminate SSD latency.

Happy to provide a step-by-step Windows 11 guide here, which clearly will solve many issues other users have with a lagging NT, once I know where the live data is stored/processed.

Thank you for posting.

By default NinjaTrader Desktop does not record real time data as historical however if you do have this option enabled the data would be stored in Documents->NinjaTrader 8->db->Day, Minute or Tick folders.
