    unable to get trade report generated

    Hi, I am trying to generate a trade report from the control center and no trades appear. I will try this again on Monday when the market is open but this was happening last week during market hours also. Last week it was generating reports for the last couple of days but I want to generate trades for the year going back to Jan 2nd and when I enter that date to the present nothing gets generated.

    Thank you for the message.

    Please make sure you are using the most current version of NinjaTrader, version 8.1.4.2:
    • Go to the Control Center > Help > About
    If you are not on the version mentioned above, then please update your platform using the steps below:
    • Login into your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard
    • Click "Download" in the bottom left-hand corner of the sidebar
    • Select "Download" in the "Most Recent Release" section
    • Once the installation is downloaded, ensure any previous version of NinjaTrader is closed before running the installation package.
    After completing the installation, you can log into the platform using the same username and password as your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard.
    • Note: Updating NinjaTrader Desktop will not affect any custom configurations, workspaces, or add-ons.
    • A visual walkthrough of the update process may be found here in our Help Center.

    Now, open the Trade Performance report > Click to Generate > Test if the orders are there.


    If the orders are still missing, please use the following steps to rename the database file so NinjaTrader automatically creates a new one and test again:​Now, reopen NinjaTrader and test if the order history is showing.


    If the order history is still not showing, please reach out to your Broker or Evaluation/Prop Firm provider directly for further help finding the Statements and Reports for that account:

      Thanks for the reply. I do have the latest version of Nt8 and I followed your instructions for renaming the NT file in the NT db. I did a trade this morning and that shows up in trades but when I go to see all the trades for April just today's appear. I go through Ninjatrader Continuum for my trading. So who do I need to contact to get this info?

        Hello rexsole,

        Thank you for the update.

        Since you are using the older "NinjaTrader Continuum" connection, that means that trade history is only saved locally.
        • Since it was already missing, this would imply the database has since been renamed/reset since those orders/trades took place.
        • Any time the database is reset or renamed, it will cause the trade history for any trades from before the current session to disappear from the platform's local history.

        From here, you could use the online Reports to review the prior trades or your official account statement:
