Horizontal & Vertical Lines Are Not Locking

When using vertical or horizontal lines and setting them to locked, I am still able to drag them around. I am using NT 8.1.4.2

I am on the same version of NinjaTrader and unable to reproduce the same behavior with either a horizontal or vertical line.


Could you try removing a line, re-adding it and locking it before trying again? If you continue to see issues, could you please record a video of your chart and attach to your reply?

I don't get the same behavior, are we sure we are on version 8.1.4.2? I am aware there was an issue on a prior release that revolved around objects not being locked.

I recently upgraded my version of NT. It says that the version is 8.1.4.2, but maybe the upgrade failed? I downloaded the NinjaTrader.Install file and went through the steps in the installer. Is this the correct way to upgrade?

That's fine, no issues there. Could you please try doing that again but also try renaming the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder in your \Documents folder? When you reinstall NinjaTrader it'll create a brand new folder that NinjaTrader will then access.
