With IB feed I cannot open March 25 ES charts

I seem to be able to only open charts of the current expiry but not earlier unless it was already used before. How can I open charts of March 25 ES ? Thanks in advance for your help

A better description is that i cannot enter ES March 25 as an indicator

Thank you for the message.

If you want to see the Historical Data from old contracts, you would need to change the Merge Policy on the platform to "Do not merge"

• Go to the Control Center > Tools > Options
• Market Data Category > Historical Data > Global merge policy > Set this to "Do not merge" > Click OK
  • Now, right-click on the chart and select "Reload all historical data"

This will allow you to see the historical data from each specific contract.

• So, if you entered ES 03-25 into the Instrument selector, only the Historical Data from the ES 03-25 contract would show on the chart.

Otherwise, the ES 03-25 expired in March and would not show any real-time or historical data past the day it expired.
