My Schwab Beta-authorization

Allow us to re-authorize at any time?

My current re-authorization is on mid week, tuesday or wednesday night. I don't know which because there's no notice.

The authorization lasts for only 1 week.

Be easier if I could re-authorize on Sunday night when I connect. I'm stuck in "authorized" and can't get in to re-auth.

I hope that makes sense.

Thank you for the message.

The Schwab Connection requires re-authorization after 7 days from the last one. This is a security feature put in place by the Schwab team so NinjaTrader has no control over when this happens.

Since it lasts for a week, you could wait to re-authorize your account on a Sunday so that moving forward, it needs you to reauthorize every Sunday.


There will be a disclaimer/notification in an upcoming update that helps notify the user once the Authorization has expired.

Yes, I require further assistance.

It would be nice as you stated, but as I stated - the AUTHORIZE is disabled, so I can't reauthorize on Sunday. Yes, I was disconnected from Schwab-Beta.

Try removing the current Schwab (Beta) connection from the list.

Then, add it back in > Then click the Authorize button to re-authorize the connection.


If it still doesn't let you reauthorize the connection, then you could wait until it expires and then leave it expired until Sunday, and then recreate and reauthorize the connection then.

I guess the only way around this more easy - I ended up creating 2 Schwab Beta connections that I can alternate between and don't have to mess around deleting.

So now I can alternate weekly (more than 1 can be authorized).

I really hope its not a popup that doesn't go away. Hopefully there's a "do not show this again" option.
