8.1.4.1 installed on win11, error installing assemblies

i've installed 8.1.4.1 on win11. i use 3rd party indicators on win10 8.0.28.0 with no problems. after i log in to 8141 on win11 i try to import my 3rd party assemblies, i get an instant error that stays on the screen for 2 seconds, then NT8 crashes and it disappears. the assembly doesn't even try to install, the error pops up immediately.

these indicators are no longer supported by the author, so i can't ask him to edit anything for me.

can someone give me step by step instructions for installing these zip files? i'm hoping i'm doing something wrong, but if i'm not i need to find out if these assemblies don't work with 8141 or win11 or both.

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.


In this case, are you able to provide a screenshot of the error message or a brief description of the error? More often than not, if an assembly is no longer supported you will not be able to use it on a later version of NinjaTrader.



If you can provide the error message, it might be something else entirely and you might still be able to use it without an author's update.
