Donchian on MACD

Looked like it might solve a problem for me, so I tried it. I would like to put the Donchian on the MACD Diff. That isn't an option. Despite assigning MACD as the input series, NT applied the Donchian o the price, and the MACD graph wound up with two lines, one around 2.5, the other upward of 18,000. Probably not a feature.

You can try going into the indicator's settings and also changing the panel number of the Donchian Channel to match the MACD's panel. Keep in mind though, when I tried doing this on my end it created a big visual offset between both indicators since there is a large difference between data sets and likely doesn't make sense to have these merged.

Thanks for your reply. In fact, I have done that, and you are right. The result is useless. However, that is not what I was trying to do. I wanted to apply the Donchian to the MACD itself: Not Donchian(Close,Len) but Donchian(MACD, Len). In practice, I have moved on, but it really seems that should work. FWIW, it does work with Bollinger bands. Not useful, but at least I could try it.
